Dr Praveen Gupta made feasible, possible all kind of bone and soft tissue cancer management with best possible limb reconstruction and rehabilitation. He established first well functioning unit for orthopaedic oncology at Bhagwan Mahaveer Cancer Hospital and Research centre, Jaipur, Rajasthan. He is first exclusive Orthopedic Oncologist in Rajasthan working dedicatedly and devotedly in this field. He has done many milestone surgeries in Rajasthan covered by leading newspapers and media. Vision of this surgeon is to provide appropriate, adequate and specialised treatment in a healthy, holistic and familiar environment in Rajasthan for which patient have to go far.

He has worked and experiences from cancer institute of Japanese foundation of cancer research, Tokyo, Japan and Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai for his orthopedic oncology clinical trainings.

He has honoured with Diploma in tissue banking from NUS, Singapore.
He completed his DNB Orthopedics from padam shree Prof Dr S S Yadav cancer Hospital, mirpur Rewari.
He was in Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi as senior resident at joint replacement and reconstruction centre under padam bhibhusan Prof Dr O.N. Nagi.

He did D-Ortho from S. N. Medical College, Agra.

After the educational and professional exposure he joined as consultant Orthopaedics and Joint Replacement surgeon at Apex Hospital, Malviya Nagar, Jaipur.
But after the all kind of orthopaedic practice he limited himself to orthopedic oncology and joined Bhagwan Mahaveer Cancer Hospital and Research centre Jaipur Rajasthan and developed a dedicated bone and soft tissue cancer unit in the institution.
Now he became a team with adjoining hands off various specialties like Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Surgical Oncology, Plastic surgery, Vascular surgery, palliative care and many more to provide higher end services for complete management for all kind of bony malignancies, soft tissue (appendicular muscles) malignacies, spine tumors, pelvic tumors as well as monastic/ pathological fracture management to provide quality of life and best possible limb reconstruction and disease cure/ control with holistic and familiar environment.
